Every class at Nativity Prep is named for someone; in the early days, the classes were named after Jesuit saints, nowadays classes are named after local heroes. Grade 5 has just been named to honor Benjamin Baker, former city planner, staunch advocate of education and literacy, and committed to the development of the city of New Bedford.
